ALGEBRA Useful Websites

Listed below are some websites we found to be helpful for extra resources and practice.

This is a tutorial website using You-Tube videos for reinforcement and relearning.  Since
this website has a multitude of math topics, we found it useful to type in the topic being
studied in the Khan Academy’s search button.

This is a tutorial website for a student to relearn missed concepts.  Click under the algebra tab.  Students would then choose a topic and have the ability to watch a 3-4 minute tutorial on the topic.  This website also supports Spanish speaking tutorials for every lesson.

This website will give nice tutorials and practice problems broken up by topic.  It is user friendly but you do need to set up a password and user name.  There is a phone app to this website as well.

This is a practice website for students to do practice problems.  A student would click under the appropriate topic and be guided through 20 practice questions for reinforcement.  If they get the answer wrong, they are guided through an explanation for the correct answer.  This is a great practice only resource.  It does not re-teach any topics.

This website offers summaries and practice problems for some topics we are now covering in the common core curriculum.  For fundamental regents type practice problems, this is a great site.

This is the NYS website for the math curriculum.  Curriculum maps and topics can be found here.
